Information about the Print
The
Summer of 2008 Jeff spent much time drawing at
Cuddesdon, a village south-east of Oxford, which
resulted in drawings, pastels and paintings as
well as several etchings. (See the preceding
item too.)
The
rich ‘burr’ effect to the lines
is due to rag wiping with retroussage (see Rooftops,
Dieppe, earlier in the exhibition).
