Information about the Print
Though none of Jeff’s plates sentimentalise the picturesque landscape of a ‘holiday’ island, this plate in particular focuses on the ‘mess’ of modern life and communications in an ancient landscape.
Through
the 1980’s Jeff made regular summer visits to
Crete as archaeological draughtsman to the British
School of Athens’ digs at Knossos.
