Information about the Print
A colour variation on the theme of Leaves,
Coffee Pot and Chair (see previous
item), produced from an aluminium plate.
The
bare etched plate was ‘painted’ with oil colours and printed. While the paper of the impression was still damp, the same plate, cleaned and re-inked with raw umber ink, was used to overprint the coloured impression. |
