Original etching and sand grain, before 1885.
Second (final ) state, with the curved lines in the previously blank top left corner added, and the aquatint.
Signed in pencil and entitled in the lower margin and inscribed in pencil Opus 28 in the top margin.
Printed in brown-black ink on stout cream wove, residual backing on the reverse .
Supported tear at the top.
