Additional Information about the Print

Impressions were exhibited at The Fine Art Society in 1922, 1923 and 1927 and at the Beaux Arts in 1929.

A view from the nave towards the high altar with its Baldacchino designed by Bernini.

A reprise of a theme first etched in 1908 on a much larger plate, St Peter’s, Sunday Morning-Rome (unknown to Dickins, EH-L 11).

Walcot also made several watercolour studies of the interior of St Peter’s.
