Additional Information about the Print

Sunshine and shadow on the West Front of the Abbey and the distant Victoria Tower of the Houses of Parliament.

Etchers such as Mortimer Menpes and Eugène Béjot, and printer-etcher David Strang, regularly used paper specially made for them watermarked with their names.
This is the only example of a Walcot etching on paper watermarked Walcot that I have ever encountered.
